Trey’s Fund of the Month (July 2026)

Clive and Flora came into BARC a year apart but have very similar stories.

Both are senior dogs and were brought into BARC with a large group of dogs neglected and surrendered by their respective hoarders.

They both needed senior bloodwork and invasive dental repair.

They were both rescued by Forgotten Coast Rescue, and Friends of BARC was more than happy to help donate towards their treatments.

Clive and Flora have since moved on to Massachusetts and were adopted to the same family.

What a beautiful ending for what looked like a hopeless situation for each.

Meet Gigi – Trey’s Fund Recipient of the Month (May 2026)

Friends of BARC helped assist Gigi’s (formerly Luna) parents with adopting Gigi at BARC. We informed her new parents that if any medical needs arose that were unforeseen at the time of the adoption, to contact us for help with medical costs to treat Gigi through our long-established Trey’s Fund program. Gigi’s parents reached out to FOB shortly after adoption, stating that Gigi was experiencing digestive issues and not eating on a regular basis. FOB arranged for a visit to their regular vet, where she was examined and determined to have a bacterial infecion. She was properly treated and FOB was able to donate the cost of the treatment. Gigi’s parents report that she is doing just wonderfully now.
